International Mandela Day sponsored by the Milwaukee Public Museum

The Hoan will be lit black, gold, green, white, red, and blue – the colors of the South African flag which was designed in 1994 when Nelson Mandela was elected president and the colors of the African National Congress (his organization) were incorporated into the existing flag design.
