Hoan Bridge lit blue and gold to highlight Marquette’s new fundraising campaign, “Time to Rise”
Milwaukee’s Hoan Bridge will be illuminated in Marquette blue and gold colors from April 11-13 to celebrate the university’s $750 million comprehensive fundraising campaign, “Time to Rise: The Marquette Promise to Be The Difference.”
The campaign, the most ambitious in Marquette’s 140-year-history, has been privately gaining momentum since its start in July 2016. Donors have funded about 60 percent of the overall campaign goal. Time to Rise will elevate fundraising resources to advance the university’s mission and pillars of excellence, leadership, faith and service.
Anchored by four objectives, the campaign prioritizes enriching and expanding student opportunities, with an emphasis on increasing access and scholarship support as well as elevating the student experience. In addition, Marquette will secure its future by supporting its teacher-scholars, fostering university-wide innovation and transforming its campus environment.
